Pro Tri State Movers

Hold authority in three states, cross the Delaware River bridges daily, and quote a flat number you can hold us to — that is what a Pro Tri State move means from a Center City rowhouse to a Cherry Hill split-level or a Wilmington colonial. One crew works both ends, ours from the first box to the last, and the figure on the estimate is the figure you settle.

Fill it out in about a minute and a written flat-rate estimate is back with you inside one business hour

You hear back within 1 business hour. Free estimate, no obligation. Whatever you send stays inside our Philadelphia office — we never pass it along.

02 Why us

The name on the contract is the name on the truck

When you book Pro Tri State, it is our paperwork you sign, our rig that parks on your block, and our own movers carrying the load — nobody hands your job off. A broker does the opposite: auctions it to the cheapest bidder of the week, then disappears.

Pro Tri State Movers
  • Full-time, background-checked movers on our own trucks — never a day-labor pickup
  • Your flat rate goes on paper and stays there — the signed figure is the settled figure, to the dollar
  • Load-out and unload are the same crew, beginning to end
  • Licensed in PA, NJ & DE plus USDOT/MC for interstate, and fully insured
  • One Philadelphia office and one contact, from the first call to the last box
What a broker does
  • Sells your move to whichever carrier underbids the rest this week
  • Lets the price climb on move day with fees nobody mentioned up front
  • Sends people you have never met to carry everything you own
  • Leaves it murky whose insurance is actually on the hook
  • Stands a phone bank between you and whoever finally shows up to lift
03 How we quote

One rate.
In writing.
No clock.

Before a single box leaves the house, we walk your real inventory and lock a binding rate to paper — no meter quietly ticking by the hour. Whatever that sheet reads is the whole bill, end of story.

Set, not metered

a quick walkthrough or video estimate sets your rate, and there it stays

Nothing buried

no fuel add-on, no stair fee, no surprise “heavy item” line on the bill

One crew, both ends

whoever loads your truck for Pro Tri State is who carries it back off at the new place

04 Keeping your move safe

We move it the way we would move our own

Every truck shows up stocked with pads, film, and floor runners — set to wrap furniture, guard hardwood, and cushion the breakables in tight Philadelphia rowhouses, trinity walk-ups, and Center City high-rises alike.

Quilted pads

Dressers, tables, and headboards get pad-wrapped in place, every one of them, before the first piece ever leaves the room.

Stretch film

Wrapped tight against road grime and humidity, drawers hold shut and upholstery rides clean across every bridge and mile.

Floor & doorway guards

Nobody lifts a box until the runners, rail wraps, and jamb pads are down, so hardwood, banisters, and trim finish the day untouched.

Built-to-fit crating

Mirrors, glass tops, framed art, flat screens — each one rides in a crate we build to its exact dimensions, corners and all.

Break-down & rebuild

Anything oversized — bed frames, dining tables, sectionals — breaks down for the ride and goes back together once it is inside the new place.

Straps, dollies & gear

Narrow rowhouse stairs, trinity winders, and the heaviest pieces each get the right tie-downs and equipment — no shortcuts on our truck.

05 How it works
1

Give us the basics

Both ZIPs, the date you are moving, and your home size — a minute, no charge.

2

We put it in writing

We read your real inventory, then commit it to one binding flat rate.

3

Our crew rolls in

In uniform, background-checked, and carrying every tool the job calls for.

4

Done, on the dot

We load it, drive it, and set each room back up — with the quote landing right where it began.

On the road across three states

The crew at your door works for us

We own every truck on the road and staff each one with full-time Pro Tri State movers, so the same hands pack your Philadelphia move from the first box to the last.

10 Good to know

Questions Philadelphia movers ask us

Are you a moving company?
Yes — Pro Tri State Movers is a fully licensed and insured moving company based in Philadelphia, PA, running our own trucks and uniformed crews across PA, NJ, and DE, with state household-goods authority in all three plus USDOT/MC for interstate hauls.
How is a move priced?
A short walkthrough or video estimate comes first, then a single flat rate built from your actual inventory goes on paper — no hourly clock in the background. The figure on that sheet is the entire price, with nothing hiding beneath it.
When do I need to book my date?
Across the tri-state, weekends and the first and last days of the month book up fastest, so two to three weeks of notice is the safe call. Midweek and mid-month dates stay open longer, and whenever a crew has room we will take same-day and last-minute jobs too.
Which kinds of moves will you take?
Everything from local jobs around Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley to cross-river moves into NJ and DE and long hauls from Philadelphia to any state in the country. The awkward pieces are ours as well — pianos, gun safes, and antiques.
Are you a licensed, insured outfit?
Yes — Pro Tri State holds household-goods authority in PA, NJ, and DE, USDOT/MC for interstate work, and full cargo and liability coverage. If your building wants a certificate of insurance, we can usually turn one around the same day.
Is a high-rise or apartment a problem?
Constantly. Center City freight elevators, building COIs, rowhouse and trinity stair carries, and tight loading windows are routine for our crews — name the building and we will arrange access well ahead of move day.
What about a piano or other specialty item?
Yes — uprights, baby grands, and full grands are routine, and the crew arrives with the boards, straps, and stair rigging to match. Gun safes, antiques, and oversized artwork get the same careful handling.
Will you pack the place and supply the boxes?
For sure — choose a full pack and we box the entire house, or a partial pack and we handle only the rooms with fragile items. Every box, sheet of paper, and roll of tape comes in on our truck.
