Are you licensed to move in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware?
Yes. We hold household-goods authority with the Pennsylvania PUC, registration with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, and a Delaware mover's license, so we can legally load on one side of a Delaware River bridge and unload on the other. For interstate moves we also carry federal USDOT and MC authority. That tri-state coverage is the reason most Philadelphia families call us — their move doesn't stay in one state.
Do you charge a flat rate or by the hour?
Our moves are flat-rate. Anthony prices the job up front and you get one number in writing that covers the crew, the truck, the pads and wrap, and the drive — bridge tolls included on any NJ or DE leg. If you'd rather go hourly for a small local job, two movers and a truck run $155/hr and three movers and a truck run $215/hr, with the one-hour minimum waived. Local flat-rate moves open at $399 for a studio or one-bedroom.
How much is the deposit and how does it work?
A $125 deposit holds your date and your crew, and it's credited straight to your final bill, so it isn't an extra charge — it's the first part of what you were already going to pay. We hold a limited number of trucks each day across three states, so the deposit is what reserves yours.
How much insurance do you carry?
Cargo coverage runs to a $1,000,000 limit on each load you ship with us. Released-value protection at $0.60 per pound is what comes standard, and you can step up to full-value coverage whenever you'd like — mention it and Gina sets it up. Should a Center City high-rise or condo board want a certificate of insurance on file, we have it issued before move day.
Can you pack for me, or do I have to pack myself?
Either way works. Pack it yourself and we'll load it, or have our crew do a full pack — we bring the boxes, paper, and wrap and handle the whole home, fragile pieces and all. Full packing is popular for moves out of older rowhouses and trinities where the tight stairs make boxing up a chore. We'll fold the packing into the same flat rate.
What happens if my move-out and move-in dates fall on different days?
We hold your things in the meantime. When the Cherry Hill closing slides or the Wilmington lease starts a few days late — which it often does — your belongings wait in our short-term storage, padded and inventoried, for as long as the gap runs. The day you're ready, the same crew loads them back out and delivers, all on the same flat-rate approach.
Do you handle long-distance moves out of Philadelphia?
We do, under our own USDOT and MC authority. We run regular long hauls out of Philadelphia to New York City, Washington DC, Baltimore, Boston, Pittsburgh, and farther — Charlotte, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando. The same truck and the same crew handle the whole route, load to unload, so there's no handoff to a second carrier anywhere on the road.
Are you a moving company?

How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks of lead time is ideal, especially for a weekend or an end-of-month date when leases turn over across the Delaware Valley. That said, we keep room on the truck board for short-notice moves, so call even if your date is close and we'll see what we can do. The $125 deposit locks it in once we've got an opening.
