Flat-rate local moves across Philadelphia and the tri-state
A Philadelphia move almost never stays inside one zip code. You’re going from a Bella Vista rowhouse to a Fishtown rehab, from a Center City high-rise to a place out in the western suburbs, or across the bridge entirely. Anthony Russo started Pro Tri State in 2014 for exactly that reality — we run our own trucks and uniformed crews and hold our own moving authority in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, so whether the new address is in South Philly or over in Cherry Hill, it’s the same company, the same crew, the same flat number from start to finish.
Across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, movers in Philly runs every move on one written number, with no add-ons after the truck loads.
Built for the way the city is actually laid out
Most local jobs here come down to access. The rowhouse with the stoop and the shared wall, the trinity with winder stairs you can barely turn a dresser on, the no-driveway block where the truck has to stage on the corner — that’s the everyday work, not the exception. We’ve been doing it long enough to plan around the narrow streets, the double-parking, and the permit-only curbs instead of being surprised by them on the morning of.
One clear price, two ways to get there
Run it on the clock if you like — two movers and a truck at $155, three at $215 — and because there’s no one-hour minimum hanging over you, the meter only turns while we’re carrying. Or take the flat rate, which opens at $399 for a studio or one-bedroom and pins the whole figure down before we roll out of the yard. We hand you both numbers and you keep the smaller one. A $125 deposit holds your date and lands back on the bill as a credit.
- Crews working Center City, South Philly, Fishtown, Manayunk and the river wards every week
- Cross-river local moves to Cherry Hill and the Jersey suburbs, no second company involved
- Up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment, $0.60/lb released-value as the standard, full-value if you’d rather
Tell us the two addresses and what’s in the place. We’ll send back an honest flat rate and the hourly figure beside it.
What’s included
- Our own truck out of Philly and a uniformed Pro Tri State crew on it — the trucks are ours, the movers are on our payroll, and the moving authority is held in our name across PA, NJ and DE
- Two-mover crews run $155 an hour and three-mover crews run $215; there's no one-hour minimum to clear, so the meter only counts the time we're actually carrying
- Prefer a single locked figure? A flat rate that starts at $399 covers a studio or one-bedroom and is settled before the truck ever leaves the yard
- Quilted pads, shrink wrap, four-wheel dollies, and a stair-climbing hand truck made for rowhouse stoops and the winder stairs in a trinity
- Beds, bunks and tables that won't survive a narrow South Philly doorway or a tight turn in one piece get broken down and put back together
- Every shipment carries up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage; liability runs at the standard $0.60 per pound, and you can step up to full-value protection on request
How we set the price
Following a short walkthrough or video estimate, we set one flat rate from the inventory you actually have — never an hourly clock. Whatever that sheet reads is the entire price, with nothing tacked on later.
