These terms cover the use of the Pro Tri State Movers website and the moving services we provide across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. By requesting a quote or booking a move with us, you agree to what’s set out below.
Quotes and the flat rate
A quote is based on the move details you give us — home size, floors, access, distance, and any specialty items. As long as those details hold, your written flat rate is the price you pay, bridge tolls and all. If something material changes — a lot more to carry, an address you didn’t mention, a stairway nobody flagged — we’ll adjust the figure in writing before we start.
Deposits, dates, and changes
Your date and crew are held with a $125 deposit, which then applies toward your final bill. If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can so we can release the truck; with reasonable notice we can usually carry your deposit to a new date, while a last-minute cancellation may forfeit it, since the crew and truck were already held.
Coverage and claims
Released-value protection at $0.60 per pound is standard, and full-value protection is available on request. Each shipment carries cargo coverage up to $1,000,000. If anything is lost or damaged, put it in writing to our office promptly and we’ll make it right.
What we’re not responsible for
A few things sit outside our liability: items you didn’t disclose when we quoted, damage to boxes you packed yourself, and delays driven by weather, bridge or highway traffic, or other conditions beyond our control. Certain hazardous, perishable, or unusually high-value items can’t ride on our trucks, and we’ll point those out before move day.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Our in-state moves operate under Pennsylvania PUC authority, with New Jersey and Delaware authority for moves into those states, and interstate moves run under federal USDOT and MC authority.
